All Nature Sings

This morning I woke up to the sound of lapping waves on a sugar white beach. I rolled over to look out the small opening I had left in the drapes to see the most magnificant sky. It was painted almost like the sky at sunset, but somehow held the promise of a new day.

Oh, did I forget to tell you we were going to the beach for New Years? Well here we are. I thought I would share a little of this beauty with you.

*BTW the photo on my template was a sunset shot I took from this same place. Do you see why I love it here?**

Comments:
How pretty... Have fun!

WOW! This is just what I needed... somehow when things aren't going right or I've been struggling, to see God's glory in creation is the best thing. If He can make something that beautiful and He says He has a plan for my life, then how can I not trust Him?

Thanks SO much for sharing this. Do you mind if I borrow it? We have a ladies outreach on January 2nd and the title is Feeling the Love. This is a great visual for God's love and the hope that He gives us.

Beautiful! The beach is my favorite destination, especially the white sands of the Gulf. God's awesomeness abounds everywhere really, but in a special way there!

Happy New Year, friend! Don't get your tongue stuck in a Coke bottle.

Thank you so much!!!
I love both shots!!!
Have a WONDERFUL time!

Beautiful sun shots....I love it!! Enjoy your getaway.

Dee - that was beautiful about the sand dollars. I'm sure you're familiar with this poem:

The legend of the Sand Dollar

There's a pretty little legend
That I would like to tell
Of the birth and death of Jesus
Found in this lowly shell.

If you examine closely,
You'll see that you find here
Four nail holes and a fifth one
Made by a Roman's spear.

On one side the Easter lily,
Its center is the star
That appeared unto the shepherds
And led them from afar.

The Christmas poinsettia,
Etched on the other side
Reminds us of His birthday,
Our happy Christmastide.

Now break the center open,
And here you will release
The five white doves awaiting
To spread Good will and peace.

This simple little symbol,
Christ left for you and me
To help us spread His Gospel
Through all eternity.

The shot on today's post was from this mornings sunrise. My goal on this trip was to sleep late and alot. God had some things he needed to show me insted.

Glad you enjoyed, feel free to use anyway you please songbird.

Things are still great. I even got a little pink today!

Happy New Year All!!

Okay, so I guess I have to go the beach today and take a picture of the sun setting. There is rain in the forcast though

GREEN HERE! But so glad you are able to enjoy the beauty of the beach! Are we sure it is December???

We did Christmas at Gulf Shores 2 years ago. Loved it. Will go back if Lord allows.

Just beautiful. The words and the picture.

Just beautiful. The words and the picture.

I can hear the waves and smell the breeze... if only I could feel the sand ~ maybe later in the year. Have a wonderful, relaxing, rejuvinating (sp?) time!
