Meanderings...

Sometimes when I am reading a lot of blogs and see the quality of the writing that is out there I get discouraged. I can’t even come up with much to say most days and the delusion that I will “wax eloquent” with my words has left me. So what do I do to offset this set-back? Do I give in and quit? Do I work harder on what I am writing or perhaps even take a course? No. I just go back and read some of what I have written, last month, last year or the year before and I realize, that while I DO care if you like what you read here, ultimately I do this for me. I love to go back and read what I have written to see where I have been.

Guess what? I have finished my TAXES!!!!

Comments:
I love reading old posts I've done too. It's fun to realize that I really am on a journey.

Keep doing it--even when you don't feel like you have much to say, you may be saying what somebody needs to hear. I too have those days where I read what someone else has written and think, "wow, I wish I could say it like that." Thanks for helping me see I'm not alone out here.

Well I always love what you have to say! And your comments to my blog and the other ones I see around show Christ in you.

Aren't you a little early for taxes? You have a whole 'nother week!

I feel the same about my writings. I MUST enlarge my vocabulary. But then on the other hand, that's just me.

Finishing taxes is the best -- even better though when you are getting some money back!

Good Job on the taxes.

Okay "hear me here" but isn't the blog church a little more real then our own. I'm sitting here now in Round Rock, Texas with my shorts and t-shirt and the things I post are probably more then I would share with most people at church. Why because it's me an all my church friends that I really don't know but yet have sometimes deeper conversations with. Okay let me blog on this today, I 'll explain it more.

Then I'll want an Amen! Woo Hoo

Just be you and do what you do. Don't compare your blog (or life) to anyone else's. I like reading your blog just the way it is...and I know a lot of others do too. Don't sweat it. Just have fun with it doing whatever you do best.

LOL, Donna. I usually think the same thing when I read your blog. You always write about the things that really matter. I just write about stupid stuff . . .
; )
