Home Again, Home Again...
I had a great long weekend. I arrived home around 8:40 last night. (Of course I had to go see my babies first!) First some negative highlights;
- We checked in....and our room was dirty (unmade beds, used towels, etc.) So we called the front desk they moved us to the 20th floor (did you know heat rises?)
- We called the front desk, ice machine didn't work
- Internet Access was $10.00 a day...(took my lap top but that is the reason I didn't post)
- No free breakfast at our hotel
- Gas was over $70.00 for one way
- Tempatures were over 100 degrees courts were even hotter!
- We were a little late for the mandatory Captain's meeting (dilly-dallying)
- I missed my babies and my Baby!
Some of the great things that happened
- We got to play 6 tennis matches in three days
- We won....one time
- We had some great food!
- We laughed....alot
- I WON a tennis racket at the party!!
- The band at the party was great!!
- We danced at the party like we didn't have to get up and play tennis at 8:00 a.m.
- My team bought my dinner and gave me a gift card for tennis stuff!!
- Got to know my partner better and formed a great friendship!
- Afternoon naps!
All in all just what I needed.....a weekend away, having fun.....and of course I was thinking about you guys the whole time!!

Wow! That negative stuff was pretty bad. But I bet the won game, the dancing, and the friendship was worth the going. So glad you're back. I meant to say hi at church, but it seemed I only saw you across a crowded auditorium (LOL).
Good for you. You had some fun, overcame the obstacles, and made it back in one piece. Pretty successful trip overall! Welcome back.
