The Reason
I find inspiration in strange places. Today it is in the lyrics of a Hoobastank song “The Reason”
I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you.
Today I will sing those words to Jesus.

I love that song. There are a lot of secular love songs that can be sung to Jesus - just sing 'em out loud & proud! Have a good weekend!

Donna quoting Hoobastank....This song was on my 2004 Christmas CD. You might of liked that one better.
It may be a horrible name but you have to admit it's fun to say. I taught it to my oldest when she was 2. It always cracked me up when she said it.

I have always hated that song, because I never ever want to be someone's reason again, too much damn pressue. Singing it to Jesus is about the only way I can like that song, thanks for the new perspective.
