Joyful Transformation

My husband won a FREE trip from our local radio station to Orlando/Busch Gardens shortly after we were married. I still have a big box of FREE seashells from that trip too!
 

So the question is "What's Not Really Good For Free?"
 

A trip to the Bahamas - all inclusive hotel and airfare from a former job. It's funny because I knew I was going to win a prize that night, but I didn't want to win the trip because I didn't have anyone to take - I wanted to win the gift certificate to the Wiz. I ended up taking my cousin.
 

I don't think I've ever gotten anything actually free unless it was a gift and someone else had to pay for it. What books did you order?
 

It's not quite a trip to the Bahamas, but last year I won a free night's stay at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort in B'ham. I took my mom with me and we enjoyed a fun shopping getaway. Very luxurious accommodations, quite a treat for both of us.
 

I won a bicycle when I was like 10 from a radio call in show....I think we sold it to a guy from church who needed a bike for a paper route (it was an adult man's bike). I'm sure I got to spend the money, but I don't remember how!
 

I love getting free stuff and have gotten a few things but can't remember a single one of them at the moment :)
 

I am a bit of a clothes horse, so anytime I get "2 for 1" I get weak in the knees!
 

This week it was free fair passes for our family. It would be so easy to drop $100 at the fair, you know?

Well... I just ordered 5 DVD's (of the same thing) and they sent me six.

Then, at the grocery store, they gave me an extra bag of someone else's groceries.

Hmmmmm....

Those don't really count though, b/c I'm gonna tell them to bill me for the extra DVD, and I'm taking the extra dry goods back to the store! :-)
