Next time I go to the eye doctor, I am definately getting contacts again - I'm really getting sick of these glasses!!! AND I'll need to increase my prescription if I want to see my hawks!

I just went to the eye doc myself on Friday. It sounds like our eyes are identical all the way back to 2nd grade and saving for those good old hard contacts. I have been in soft ones for XXX years now and love them. My astigmatism, or so he tells me, wouldn't benefit from the surgery. He said I go to Austin and he would refer me to a surgeon friend and we could check it out. I have always been afraid of it before. But hey I figure at this point what do I have to lose? It would be great to see so clearly. But for now, I am looking forward to a new pair of contacts. But, I will check it out.....after all the other things in my life get taken care of.

I'm envious. I want Lasik surgery, too. Waiting for Wal-mart to offer it...
 

It's OK for me to put something IN my eye, like contacts, but I could NEVER do that surgery unless they knocked me out completely! You are very brave!
